Finally a new album from Maxïmo Park. "Stream Of Life" is a mega brilliant IndiePopRock album and I can only recommend it, especially because I've traded in the previous Maxïmo Park albums. Favorite songs are "The End Can Be As Good As The Start" and "The Path I Chose".

Lady Gaga is back with "Harlequin". Jazzy, with her own interpretation of jazz classics, sometimes loud, sometimes quiet and sometimes rocky. In keeping with the film "The Joker", in which she plays Harley Quinn, there is also the rocky "The Joker" and then the quieter "Folie À Deux".

I especially liked the quiet "Close to you".

Absolutely recommended.

Tom Walker released a well-thought-out Indie-Pop and Soul album with "I am" on September 20th. It impresses with his voice and the arrangements. I really liked "Holy Ghost", "Echoes" and the title track "I am".

Recommended.

Nelly Furtado is back with "7" and I love this album. A great mix of Pop, HipHop and Latin. I really liked the opener "Showstopper" and the collaborations with other artists.

Clear recommendation

I was so looking forward to the new album "143" by Katy Perry and I am extremely disappointed. No development to be seen and it doesn't come close to her previous albums. Absolutely not recommended.

A nice album, but no song stands out, so I won't remember the album for long.

My love of Nick Cave music began with this album and especially with "Into your arms". Great lyrics with depth and melodies that still captivate me even after 27 years. "The Boatman's Call" remains my favorite album by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds.

For me personally, this is the Fleetwood Mac album of all time. "Go your own way" is my absolute favorite song on the album. Overall, the band's interplay is fantastic.

One of the first country albums I heard. Great lyrics and great music from the three women from Texas. Still fresh country that I still enjoy listening to 26 years after it was released.

A new album by Lenny Kravitz is a must-hear. This includes "Blue Electric Light", which is certainly inspiring with its mix of Pop, Funk and Rock, but doesn't come close to his great early albums. Nevertheless, it is one of my favorites of 2024.

Very nice Electronic Pop by London Grammar from Nottingham. "The Greatest Love" once again impresses with the voice of Hannah Reid.

An album that I can listen to again and again.

Five years have passed since Vampire Weekend's last album release and now they have released a great Indierock album with "Only God Was Above Us". One of my highlights of the year and one that I want to listen to again and again from the first to the last song.

Beautiful #indiepop from Iceland by Emilíana Torrini. "Miss Flower" has beautiful lyrics and, above all, beautiful melodies. A mixture of Folk and Electronic. Unique and different than expected. A good listen.

You can listen to Miranda Lambert's new album "Postcards from Texas", but you don't have to. Solid Country, good for in-between times, but unfortunately nothing that sticks with you for long.

Cool Jazz and Retro-Soul Lady Blackbird from Los Angeles. "Black Acid Soul" was released in 2021.

Beautiful melodic Folkpop from Berlin by Mighty Oaks. "High Times" was released on September 13th.

I really enjoyed listening to it and it won't be the last time.

SnowPatrol is back. 6 years after their last album, "The Forest Is The Path" was released on September 13th. Not as rocky as at the beginning of their career, but it still comes through. Today, much more Indiepop than Alternativerock. But still good to listen to.

Beautiful Indie-Pop-Rock from The Pinder Brothers with their 2006 debut "JupiterFalls". I really like "Jupiter Falls" and "Closer to Mars".

Beautiful melodies and lyrics, plus the voices of Michael and Matt Pinder. Simply a great listening experience.

A wild mix of EDM and progressive guitar rock coupled with spoken word. The 15 songs are never the same and always different. Sometimes more guitar, sometimes more EDM, then pop or house. Hats off to the range.

My favorite songs are "She looks like me" and "Vampire in the corner".

Great indie pop from France. I'm particularly impressed by "Lisztomania" and "Rome". An album that I've heard several times and can listen to again and again.

CœurDePirate has created a beautiful French-language debut with her album of the same name. A great voice, great melodies and beautiful piano playing.

A beautiful and calm folk album in Irish that invites you to dream. Beautiful style and a pleasant voice that I like. An album with no outliers that you can listen to again and again when you need something calm.

A great rock album with a wide range of instruments in the songs. Brass, accordion and the usual guitar and drums. Plus a voice that is not easily forgotten. An album to listen to multiple times.

The fourth album "Romance" has a catchy sound and I think it's a great album. "Starburster" is the strongest song on the album for me and my absolute favorite.

A beautiful voice and an interesting mix of electronic, dance and ethno. But nothing that convinces me to listen to the album more often.

Sweet, light pop music with a very pleasant voice and beautiful lyrics, exactly what the album title promises. An album without any outliers, but good to listen to.
