Fun album for what it is. The Kinks cover kinda throws me off. For one, it's too early in the album. Save the covers for the end of the album for filler material. It also is too close to the release date of the original? Just me being a dick about it and that's fine for me.

I fucking love to talk shit about Metallica, but every time I hear Cliff Burton era Metallica, I get it. Shoulda been Lars.

What do you mean Dave Mustaine is a good songwriter? I've had to listen to his lyrics. See how dumb that is? Whomever told Mustaine he should do the lyrics and vocals for Megadeth should be endlessly kicked in the dick. Sure, mans can fuckin shred and write riffs, but Jesus pizza fuckin Christ stay in your lane.

What a fantastic album. It's hard to hear this album on its own and say "yeah, that's metal," but it laid such wonderful groundwork in the riffs, composure, and themes that it can be impossible to deny its influence on the formative years of the genre. A masterpiece in 36 minutes. Perfect.

This is a perfect album. Every hook is so catchy. Every riff is so ass whippy. It’s so fun.
