Loved this one. I’ve been a big fan of Horse Jumper for about 5 or 6 years now and I fell in love with the Slowcore tropes of “So Divine” and their S/T debut. But the last couple releases haven’t really scratched that itch for me the way their first two records did. But this one is a direct answer to that. In a way, I feel like they’ve dug into the Slowcore sound and style on here more than they have on majority of their records and I love it! I don’t think it’s better than their first two but it’s definitely a step in the right direction and I’m so… More
I was unmoved by the earlier releases which I found erratic (not in a good way). This is better and more consistent, but not doing anything that Codeine, Bedhead etc didn't do decades ago. But then again, not many people do that and I happen to like it.
