As comes with every compilation, it's quite incoherent. There are some standout contributions by Touché Amoré, Brutus, Quicksand and Zulu. But others are quite sacrilegious.
It is breathtakingly good. It picks you up, puts you among the stars and hits you with interstellar power. From atmospheric to straight up death metal and everything inbetween. Record of the year for me.
I'm a big fan of them since Necroticism and was blown away by the 2013 comeback album Surgical Steel. This follow up I somehow forgot to give enough attention. Upon listening to it recently it's way better than I remembered.
Parker Cannon sounds freed in No Pressure. Hence the band name. Although this TSSF album is solid, it's also a bit too solid. I bit too much formula going on here.
