When it hits, it hits, but that’s limited to probably 2 songs, the others are a bit of a mess when it comes to cohesiveness - I think the genre bending is a bit too try hard which is a shame because the idea and potential is there
Honestly my blueprint for melodies and songwriting, Matt has really coined the whole indie singer/songwriter vibe and knows exactly where his niche is.

pretty solid follow up to emails I can’t send, I think she really has managed to brand herself around fun pop music and tongue in cheek lyrics. Compared to Jack Antonoff’s recent work I’d say this is a shining star for him
