    I think this is her best yet (+ we mostly have the Jack Antonoff effect to thank for that) but still not very interesting, perhaps a little too all over the place w/ genre, and Juno is doing nothing to beat the straight people are weird as hell allegations.

    I give this album 3.5/5 I give the Taste music video 5/5.

    I’ve been procrastinating an opinion on this album for weeks now and it’s time to grow some balls and have one. Will I always have an immense soft spot for the early VW that soundtracked my 3am tumblr scrolls - yes, do I think they were better with full time Rostam - maybe, is this still a great album that effectively encapsulates the inner workings of an aging millennial, and was my initial resistance to it also an unwillingness to admit my own descent into adulthood - definitely

    My argue with the wall take is that Lizzy could soundtrack the most gut wrenching off-broadway romance if given the chance. Her whole discography reads like a pensive, follow spot, cheat to audience Act I conclusion and as a reformed theater kid I’m perpetually here for it.

    Early appreciation for the twang and harmonies on Come Down Soon + Movie Star (big Golden Hour Kacey Musgraves inspo) & the build on Broken Glass
