This is one of those records that will stay with you for ages whether you want it to or not. Crushing guitars, haunting vocals, Just all-round menacing music. I saw someone somewhere say that this band sound like the first season of True Detective and, like... yeah, that's pretty much it.

Yeah, unfortunately I'm the one person who didn't like "brat." Felt like Charli was parodying herself and was surprised to see people going nuts for it. Happy she's getting the recognition she deserves though.

Adam Neely and Shawn Crowder are a pair of only a handful of musicians I am aware of who are making incredibly deep, sonically rewarding jazz-fusion music, but (as YouTubers) are also going our of their way to talk about what makes this music interesting to them as musicians and composers.

The more I listen to this I think I like it less and less.
