This is the kind of concept rap LP that they don't do enough of anymore. You liked Deltron 3030? You liked The Infesticons? You liked Handsome Boy Modeling School? You'll love this -- it's a movie for your ears

I don't know what they're doing with this LP right now in the market: it's digital pre-order for $10 on Bandcamp, releasing end of October... but it's available now in full on the iTunes Store for $24. Did someone screw up? Sure seems like it

This was one of those CDs in the recommended rack at Other Music that had such a good write-up that I bought it unheard and was simply blown away at the time -- micro-house had been my thing and after listening to Akufen and Herbert and so on, this LP just perfectly synthesized everything I loved about the genre and did it so masterfully that I really kinda stopped searching out other folks and just wanted more Ricardo Villalobos.
