  • It’s good to have them back. Doesn’t feel as whole a set of songs as Dragonslayer for example but I’m sure these songs will be worming their way into my ear for a good few weeks yet

  • More like the GOAT has returned, am I right?

From one and half listens, this album feels a bit back-heavy as the obvious standouts to me are _Reappearing Rat_ and _Worm_ but it's obviously good. I imagine several more songs will stand out as I have more of a chance to pick out lyrics from them.

Fable Killer feels more like it should be on [Julia With Blue Jeans](https://record.club/releases/albums/moonface-julia-with-blue-jeans-on), which, is an album I like but also very much doesn't feel like Sunset Rubdown to me

  • This is exactly what I wanted from a Sunset Rubdown revival that I didn't know was happening until it did. It's arch and slightly off-putting and pretentious in all the ways Sunset Rubdown should be (see also: the collected works of Dan Bejar).
