The mix of their classic slacker rock with a rather jammy approach blends pretty well here. Songs take a while to make an impression as vocal melodies are less catchy than usual but the fact that they let them breathe so much make the solos so powerful it ends up working very well, especially for an autumn night.
"All their friends are Califone singers" was what I was thinking after the first listen but it's already growing on the second listen (I do like Califone, but they can be a bit boring).
