I had never heard of Cookies and Dawn of Midi, but this was pretty solid, particularly the Amber Coffman tracks. Will definitely be listening to it more.
Plucky, fragmented little pop album from members of Cookies and Dawn of Midi. Instrumentation is interesting and feeling those Amber Coffman features. Really like the idea of picking a handful of people to feature and reusing them across the album.
I appreciate the vision embedded within the debut for this duo. However, I think the execution missed the mark in many circumstances, creating something half forgettable and half promising, but not fully actualized.
