I just discovered this last month, and I've been compulsively listening to it ever since. I find myself singing it in the morning, or when I'm doing dishes.
Its not a perfect album, it really falls off after the singles, but those songs are just so incredibly strong I find myself listening to it over and over again.

anyways, here’s to my favorite album of the current years, Caroline Polachek’s best job: Desire, I want to turn into you.
This album is a masterpiece, period. From cover to last track, and including the deluxe version, it’s great from start to finish. All the synths and instrumentals from songs like “sunset” “welcome to my island” “bunny is a rider” and vocals like in “I believe” & “blood and butter”, all of the production is just so fresh and simply incredible.
