    There's a lot of awful bullshit going on all the time and I fuck up a lot trying to get through it. In the end I act like a cornered little rat who let society and capitalism and all the overwhelming ills of being a human get too big for me to handle. Our identities can get manufactured and marketable and the more you slink into the system of working just to live the less you feel like you're a person worth paying attention to or worthy of an iota of self-respect. So we get depressed, lonely, deep into self-medication, defeated, hungry and easy to push around so we can give up easier.

    Wanderlust is an incredibly lovely album-ass-album by Japanese math/emo band perfect piano lesson. It's wonderfully scrappy yet capable. This album is like a cat.

    Would you like another album for your rotation when you're working on your village in Minecraft? This fits. Do you gotta go through a bunch of New Folders on your desktop? You could listen to this while you do that.

    It's a really nice album.

    My music trajectory in high school started with blink-182, then I got sidetracked by nu-metal, lots of TRL and whatever else my friends were into (which sent me into a Christian Music phase which was only bolstered by the fact that my only avenues for purchasing CDs were Christian bookstores, Wal-Mart, and a head shop that I was too nervous to approach).
