Mom+Pop

Mom + Pop Music is a New York City-based independent record label. Founded by Michael Goldstone in 2008, its roster includes Alicia Keys, Courtney Barnett, Madeon, Tom Morello, Porter Robinson, Maya Hawke, Tycho, Tash Sultana, Sunflower Bean, Beach Bunny, Caamp, and Del Water Gap. Goldstone serves as co-president of Mom + Pop Music with Thaddeus Rudd, who joined the label as Goldstone's business partner and co-president in 2009.

On the 10th anniversary of the label's founding, Goldstone said: "Our ambition for Mom + Pop has been and always will be to build a collaborative label with transparency and sincere respect for our artists’ creative controls."

Initially backed by Q Prime Management owners Peter Mensch and Cliff Burnstein, Mom + Pop first opened its doors in Times Square, across from the Brill Building.
