With slight undertones from Editors, White Lies is this a dark album full of massive songs. Although it sounds familiar IST IST really got their own style and puts the songs right where it belongs: somewhere between your heart and brains

I actually enjoyed this album. Most of the time EotS has standout singles and a lot of fillers on their albums. This time it feels like there are more tracks on this album who could be a single or are a banger. Just the last two tracks are a lot less my cup of tea. Perfect for a sunny day!

This album is made for the dancefloor. Ready to get going for a night in the club or a day at a festival? Pump this album and you're ready. Though everytime the same tric is used (intro, buildup, drop, breakdown, drop, outro) it never gets really boring. Neither really outstanding.

I tried. Twice. Only 'Nothing To Do' gives a little spark from that old rocky stuff The Kings used to make.

I'm a little disappointed, their last album (When You See Yourself) was from a higher level than their work before (Walls). It's a matter of taste i guess, but this album won't work for me.

This album feels like a really long trip. Not particular one outstanding song, but a whole conceptual album. Perfect for deep work or background music wich will slowly bring you more into your trip. Repetitive sounds will let your head go up and down. And just before you know it you are slowly singing some sounds along. The only downside is that it all sounds a little to similar and there are no big highlights or wide breaks. Enjoyed listening to it!

The comeback album after 9 years finds the duo searching for 'pop' songs. With some help of Tame Impala, Thundercat and Rimon these songs have got vocals and are a nice listen. More type of dancefloor or festival-tracks are missing. Only 'Generator' or 'Dear Alan' should work there. All by all a decent album wich is nice to listen to and definitly marks the comeback of the french boys.

Rich instrumentated album. Don't know what the goal of this album is. Is it the club? Probably not, because too soft. Is it for listening at home? Probably. Nice for background and study, not really that impressive, can't keep me amused for a long time.

Classic. No four by four kicks, all broken beats. All tracks have stunning melodies wich are brought softly and opened up widely through the breaks. 'Glue' is a modern-day classic and 'Opal' is the track wich can end every party. Must listen.

Barry can definitely swim! But only because of others who paved the sound for him. This album lends much of old native samples, transformed into a new jacket. Will work on the greater stages or at a sunset-party. Could use more variety. Nevertheless a nice album to go through the day :-)

This is the album that brings the brothers to the bigger crowds! With one leg in the underground rave scene and the other one standing at the mainstream techno-parties nowadays this record is made for huge, massive warehouses with a banging soundsystem. Mostly described by my brother as a 'more dry' version of Bicep, Overmono is seeking a way to balance between vocal tracks with a R&B background and heavy broken beats. No standing still guaranteed while listening!

This debut-album by Logic1000 moves towards a more house-oriented style. The four by four is leading, while small broken beats and breaks are always around the corner. Vocally smooth, you can listen to this at home, but probably enjoy it more at sunset at the beach or at a party!

A diverse record wich stands for the music by Four Tet. Not the man who played Coachella as a headliner, but the musician Kieran Hebdan. Easy to listen to at home, in the car or in the club.
