In a March 26 post to my Mastodon account (cool flex), I wrote:

"They're never top-of-mind when favorite bands come up, but I'm always excited when a new album from elbow comes out, and their newest one is really good, and so maybe I should keep them a little more top-of-mind from now on."

Seven and a half months later, I stand by this statement: This album is really good.

Why pick between either album - Kid A or Amnesiac - when you can have both?

I used to think OK Computer was my favorite Radiohead album, but then I got high once and listened to Kid A with decent headphones and I felt the album in ways I hadn't before, so that gave Kid A the boost needed to dethrone it.

And then you can't really have Amnesiac without Kid A, can you? So yeah, have both!
