Mike Batt

Michael Philip Batt (born 6 February 1949) is an English singer-songwriter, musician, arranger, record producer, director, and conductor. He was formerly the Deputy Chairman of the British Phonographic Industry.

As a solo artist, his contributions in the UK include creating The Wombles, writing hits including "Bright Eyes” and introducing Katie Melua to the music scene.
