Mike Batt
Michael Philip Batt (born 6 February 1949) is an English singer-songwriter, musician, arranger, record producer, director and conductor. He was formerly the Deputy Chairman of the British Phonographic Industry.
He is known for creating The Wombles pop band and for writing "Bright Eyes” from the 1978 animated Watership Down film. He is also credited for introducing Katie Melua to the music scene.
