Hadn’t taken a full deep dive into this record up until today when I listened during my commute, and I feel like this one is the more challenging of the two most well known and acclaimed Sigur Ros records. While I loved this one it seemed that some of these songs carried for a little more than I wanted or expected them to and I don’t think that’s a knock to the album it could also just be the mindset I was in at the time haha. Aside from that, the instrumentation and production has to be one of the most lush and beautiful sounding I’ve heard in a while. Again I think this was a great album and I think it’ll grown on me even more than it already has with following listens!
