Not as propulsive and deranged as a lot of Kelpe's earlier albums, but it's got a driving texture that I really like. There was a period of time shortly after I moved to Los Angeles where this was one of the main albums I listened to while driving.

I love Kelpe's work. It's so clocklike and rhythmic and even organic, like a clock made of... I don't know. Wood? I have a brain trained on the background tracks of 1990s history-themed citybuilders and RTSes and I require--REQUIRE!!--things to tick and thump in my ear always. Kelpe's shit is always perfect for this, and The Curved Line in particular has so much incredible percussion.
